I have been looking at these images and have decided that they need to be seen at a larger size. I'm thinking that they should be printed closer to life size and will be printed on a canvas.

more women's basketball

As I progress in my investigation of women's basketball, I am drawn to the strength and gracefulness of the players and the game. I feel that each movement needs to be isolated in order to be fully appreciated. 

New Project

My new project deals with women basketball players and the image they project. My intent is to show a non-stereotypical image of femininity that is not often examined. In our society, women are still portrayed as being the weaker, less talented and less intelligent gender, while being objectified by the male gaze. Although this is just a beginning to a long process, I hope to show an alternative image of  femininity in today world.
